Hello everyone. As you already know, Yoono is here at BlogWorld 2008 representing the social media crowd and making some awesome connections. Some of the team arrived Thursday evening and the rest arrived Friday night just in time to make it to some amazing parties. We’re a San Francisco based startup so we see a lot of the same faces and hang out at the same venues but moving the party to Las Vegas was an awesome choice.
After we got settled in last night, it was off to The Hard Rock Hotel for a mixer solely sponsored by BUZZlogic. from 7-9PM. A lot of Yoono’s friends were there and we met some new people as well. At 9PM, BUZZlogic took the 45 party goers over to The Mirage hotel for the TECHset BlogWorld party. The party was held poolside and you had to RSVP before hand. There were great drinks, awesome discussions about social media & blogging and some bloggers even decided to take a dip in the pool.
Cut to 2AM, we’re all tired but we met up with 2 other bloggers and grabbed some burgers in one of the casinos. It sounds like all fun & games but we were really able to connect with a lot of new users and it’s cool when you meet people that use and love Yoono.
I’m writing this from the lounge at The Las Vegas Convention Center as day 1 of BlogWorld 2008 begins. I will be posting photos tonight or tomorrow morning. Don’t forget. IF you see the Yoono shirt, don’t hesitate to say hello.
