There have been a small percentage of new users (1:1,000) that have said they hate it when Yoono Twitters or updates their facebook status with, “I’m testing Yoono !” during the setup process. It’s a simple, one-time thing that lets your friends on Facebook & Twitter know that you’re setting up Yoono. A couple of users have gone as far as calling it “spam” but the definition of spam is, “Irrelevant or inappropriate messages sent on the Internet to a large number of newsgroups or users.”

The difference between Spam and Yoono’s approach to telling your friends about Yoono is that our software setup asks if you’d like to Twitter “I’m testing Yoono !” before you enter your Twitter account details. It asks you again before you enter your Facebook details. This opt-in method is easy to see, noticeable and extremely easy so it’s up to you if your friends know you’re testing Yoono.

From our end, we love seeing Twitter messages throughout the day announcing that people are using Yoono. Actually, my personal joy isn’t from a downloads standpoint because I copy the Twitter names of people who test out Yoono and track their progress, feedback and get a lot of satisfaction when I see how their Yoono usage evolves. Want to meet other Yoono users? Check out I’m testing Yoono ! on Twitter Search.

  • Thanks for the comment. It looks like your query spans the Twitter messages from users over the past 30 days. Considering that we've delivered over 1.7 million downloads of Yoono, a handful of messages regarding the product is extremely low. I monitor Yoono Tweets every hour and it's extremely rare that anyone expresses remorse for downloading our Product. Maybe you should simply search for Yoono and see how almost 20 times a day, people are tweeting positive things about our product.

Another thing is that every time someone complains about our product via blogs or Twitter, we are quick to contact that person and see what about Yoono they disliked. It's all about communications. If you search Twitter for "Microsoft sucks" or "Comcast sucks" then you'll certainly see a plethora of tweets. Considering Yoono's popularity, I am extremely happy with the relatively low negative amount of Tweets regarding our product.
  • That's nice & all but isn't there an EVEN LARGER percent stating how much they hate Yoono after shortly trying it out.......
