I started using Wakoopa 2 months ago and it’s been a fun way to track my computer usage. Wakoopa offers an installer for Mac and PC and eventually Linux that sits on a very small amount of ram to track your usage patterns of software and what websites you visit. The privacy can be completely tailored to what you want Wakoopa to track.

What’s cool about the software is that after a few days of use, you can view interactive pie charts regarding what software you spend the most time using. It tracks software you use most often, new software you’ve found and even how much time you spend on Twitter. I’ve found it to be very useful and there are even some social aspects of the service that allows you to befriend people that you already know and people that have similar software interests as you.

I was pleased to find out that my friend Justine Ezarik was a user and that we had similar software interests. Join Wakoopa, set it and forget it because it’s a really cool service.

  • So cool! I love that it tracks website. This would be a headache for my boss but I think it's an excellent tracker for my own personal time and to share with friends.
  • And now it tracks websites you visit.
