We’re pleased to announce our project SocialMediaCamp.us is live! Our very own Theresa Toste has led this initiative and is doing a fantastic job helping college students learn more about social media.
Here’s the description:
Socialmediacamp.us provides a place for college students to learn about how to use social media in their personal and collegiate lives. Through blogs and campus events, students have many ways to use social media tools (beyond just MySpace and facebook) to connect with their friends and the rest of the world. Socialmediacamp.us is driven by the leadership of Social Media Ambassadors on your campus to educate students about social media tools available today and how to leverage them. We’re committed to creating a student community for social media on college campuses.
Please forward this on to others who are students enrolled at colleges or have students in college. We’re adding new schools all of the time. This is our way of giving back to the social media community and our ambassadors are educating students on new technologies like Twitter, Facebook and others.
